  • Has honored over 3000 individuals in the state of Oklahoma
  • Currently, there are about 300 living Centenarians in Oklahoma
  • This is the only such program in the United States

WHERE AND HOW IS MY LOVED ONE CELEBRATED?

Our volunteers cover the entire state of Oklahoma to honor these Special Seniors. We will present the Centenarian with:

  • Centenarian of Oklahoma Certificate
  • “Golden Okie” Pin
  • Biographical Sketch

Additionally each year, the centenarian will receive:

  • Card on their birthday
  • Christmas card
  • Small remembrance item

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

There are no dues, fees, or costs for the honoree or their family.


WHAT ARE THE NUMBER OF INDUCTIONS OF CENTENARIANS EACH YEAR?

We show an average of celebrating about 76 centenarians annually over a 19-year period. Our annual centenarian induction count changes each year as we reach more individuals.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A CENTENARIAN PASSES AWAY?

  • Their records are sent to the Oklahoma Historical Society for permanent storage and for genealogical research by family members and others.
  • Biographical information about the Centenarian is added to Find a Grave ‘s virtual memorial.
